Job Description

The Industrial and Medical Systems Architect defines and translates requirements from both industrial and medical equipment where FPGAs play a significant role
  • Develop roadmap requirements for silicon, software, and IP
  • Engage with third-party stakeholders to source, develop and evangelize solutions for the market
  • Partner with customers, sales, marketing, applications engineering, engineering, and operations to evaluate and propose technical solutions, and aid in the development of the long-term business model
  • Ability to understand market dynamics and how to intercept key opportunities while interfacing with customers and partners
  • Translate customers’ systems application requirements into technical proposals and scope feasibility of new technology use
  • Identify and propose new needs for deliverables
  • Coordinate silicon, SW, IP, solutions, and system architecture with the customers and with internal SMEs
  • Drive long-term growth by building relationships, creating strategies, and facilitating technology collaboration with strategic customers
  • Work closely with product planning and engineering to develop execution plans
  • Develop market requirement documents and work with key stakeholders to develop product requirement documents
  • Ensure investment achieves company’s ROI requirements and meets customer and corporate deadlines

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field
  • Minimum ten years of working experience inclusive of:
    • System-level architecture and board-level design in industrial and medical market
    • High-speed serial transceivers EDA and silicon design flow experience
    • Knowledge of key standards, processes, and procedures in the industrial and medical markets
  • Preferred experience in board-level design with FPGAs, GPUs, other programmable logic
  • Existing relationships with key industry stakeholders preferred
